Das DALI PS dient als Stromversorgung für das DALI-Bussystem. Die standardisierte Spannungs- und Strombegrenzung sowie das Timing gewährleisten eine zuverlässige Kommunikation auf dem Bus. Mit einem Ausgangsstrom von bis zu 250 mA kann die gesamte DALI-Linie versorgt werden. Es können bis zu 64 adressierbare DALI-Geräte und weitere 20-30 Steuermodule (DALI-Sensoren, MCs, Touchpanels...) angeschlossen werden, bis zu einer Gesamtlast von 200 mA. Es sind Einheiten mit unterschiedlichem Ausgangsstrom und Gehäusen erhältlich, geeignet für die DIN-Schienenmontage, die ferngesteuerte Deckeninstallation (Gehäuse mit Zugentlastung) oder Unterputzdosen.
