TSL200: 1-Wire Ambient Light Sensor with 83000 lux working range and IP30 protection

The TSL200 is a 1-Wire ambient light sensor with high dynamic range and resolution. The dynamic range of 83000 lux ensures accurate measurements even directly towards light sources. The sensor measures visible light intensity and has strong infrared (IR) rejection; this makes the spectral response of the sensor very close to that of the human eye. The 1-Wire ambient light sensor measures up to 83000 lux and features automatic full-scale settings. This capability allows light measurement over an effective 23-bit dynamic range, making the sensor extremely accurate in both dark and very bright light conditions. Internal digital signal processing ensures long-term stability and repeatability of measurements. Thanks to full factory calibration, the sensor does not require further calibration by the customer.

The sensor communicates via the 1-Wire interface; for easy daisy-chain wiring, two RJ-11 connectors are available on the panel. The presence of a unique identification number for each sensor allows the installation of multi-sensor systems. In addition, the 1-Wire ambient light sensor can be combined with sensors for other environmental parameters to build single-point multiparameter environmental monitoring.
