ATC-3000: High-Performance Serial Ethernet Converter

The ATC-3000 device server is a high-performance device server between Ethernet (TCP/IP) and serial communication ports. It can be used in all plants or devices, and it conveys data from any serial port to the Ethernet network.
By encapsulating serial data and transporting it over Ethernet, the ATC-3000 enables transparent bidirectional data transmission between a serial port and the Ethernet network.

In industrial automation and manufacturing, the ATC-3000 can be integrated with most field devices, including PLCs, HMIs, barcode readers, data terminals, UPS, electronic meters, and automation controller devices.

Existing Windows-based applications can access Ethernet-to-serial devices using Virtual COM software which creates virtual serial ports on the host computer.

Flexible configuration options allow the device to be configured remotely via Ethernet from Telnet, web browser, or other utility windows. The ATC-3000 is not only a convenient network-enabled transparent serial device, but it is also easy to install, thanks to its web server page.

The device is equipped with an Ethernet interface on an RJ45 connector, DB9M (DTE) connectors for RS232 interface connection, and removable terminals for RS422/485 connection. The converter also features surge protection on the RS422/485 interface.

Power can be supplied either via removable terminals or via a standard 9V DC adapter (included) (2.1 mm jack).

The device is equipped with a web server, which allows it to be configured from a normal browser (e.g., Internet Explorer).

The device can be set for master or slave operation, allowing two devices to connect autonomously to each other to remote a serial line over an Ethernet network (Paired mode).
