ADAS - GPS tracker and ADAS camera TELTONIKA FMx6 series

ADAS is an advanced driver safety system designed to save lives, increase awareness of bad driving habits, and record driving statistics (with video) for fleet management users and traditional drivers. Together with Teltonika's FMX6 trackers, all collected information, including ADAS IO, can be forwarded to the chosen server, including video and photo requests or even event triggers that may occur when accidents happen. This installation manual highlights the most important information needed and assumes that an experienced installer will use common industry practices for successful integration.

Teltonika's FMX125 and FMX225 ONLY support ADAS IO information; image and video requests are not supported for FMX125 and FMX225. When ordering, ADAS cameras starting with S/N 9B are integrated to work with FMX125/225, while devices starting with S/N 9C only work with FMX6. If you receive a camera with a serial number beginning with “9B”, it is crucial to check for a red sticker on the camera. The presence of this red sticker indicates that the camera, despite the “9B” serial number, is actually compatible with FMX6 devices and functions equivalently to cameras with a “9C” serial number. This is due to serial numbers being pre-attached to the camera housing by the manufacturer and remaining constant for warranty purposes. If your camera with serial number “9B” has this red sticker, connect it to a computer, install the necessary drivers, and visit IP 10.0.0.1 in a browser. Here you will find further details about the camera, confirming its compatibility with FMX6 devices, as the actual serial number displayed will begin with “9C”.
