KNX ENO 630- KNX Gateway for EnOcean (previous versions)

Unidirectional/bidirectional gateway between EnOcean wireless devices and the KNX bus. Over 100 device profiles (EEP EnOcean Equipment Profiles) allow easy and secure connection of EnOcean sensors and actuators to KNX installations.

The KNX ENO 630 unit acts as a unidirectional gateway between EnOcean radio devices and the KNX/EIB bus. With this device, commands and measured values from EnOcean wireless sensors can be transferred to the KNX bus, for example to control KNX actuators.

For EnOcean sensors, the device relies on so-called EnOcean Equipment Profiles (EEP). The implemented profiles are mostly specified in the sensor data sheets. For controlling EnOcean actuators, the corresponding EEPs are emulated.

This means that the gateway sends radio telegrams like a button or a window contact. Additionally, the gateway supports logic and control functions and is equipped with a radio repeater.

The KNX ENO 630 is organized into 16 channels. Each channel can be assigned one of the following functions.

### Mounting and connection

Mounting can be done on a wall surface (e.g., masonry or wood). The mounting holes correspond to a 55 mm flush-mounted box. The device is powered via the bus.

### Repeater function

The repeater function is used to extend distances between sensors and actuators. KNX ENO 630 is a so-called Level 1 radio repeater.

### Bus monitoring function

The integrated bus monitoring function is used for system diagnostics directly on the device. The device can display both EnOcean and KNX telegrams.

### Configuration: KNX ENO Tool

The KNX ENO Tool software allows you to configure connections between various EnOcean sensors and the EnOcean KNX/EIB gateway KNX ENO 626/630/632/6347636.
