KNX ENO 636 secure - KNX Gateway for EnOcean 32 fold

Bidirectional gateway between EnOcean and the KNX bus. The device supports encrypted radio communication with EnOcean Secure devices. Over 100 device profiles (EnOcean Equipment Profiles EEPs) enable simple and secure connection of various EnOcean sensors and devices to KNX installations.

The KNX ENO 636 secure device acts as a bidirectional gateway between EnOcean wireless devices and the KNX bus. With this device, commands and measured values from EnOcean wireless sensors can be transmitted to the KNX bus, for example to control KNX actuators. EnOcean wireless actuators can also be controlled via KNX. The KNX ENO 636 secure from Weinzierl supports encrypted radio communication with security-enabled EnOcean devices.

In addition, the gateway provides logic and control functions and includes a wireless repeater. The KNX ENO 636 secure now supports more than 100 profiles with its 32 radio channels, allowing an even greater number of different EnOcean sensors and actuators to be easily and securely connected to KNX installations.

Security
As the first KNX gateway on the market, the new KNX ENO 636 secure supports encrypted radio communication with EnOcean devices. Commissioning is as simple as usual: encryption can be activated individually for all 32 channels. Subsequently, security-enabled EnOcean sensors and actuators can be learned in as before. The user gains increased security without losing comfort.

Mounting and connection
Mounting can be done on a wall surface (e.g. brick or wood). The mounting holes correspond to those of a 55 mm flush-mounted box. The device is powered via the bus.

Repeater function
The repeater function is used to extend distances between sensors and actuators. The KNX ENO 636 is a so-called level 1 radio repeater.

Bus monitoring function
The integrated bus monitoring function is used for system diagnostics directly on the device. The device can display both EnOcean and KNX telegrams.

The configuration of the device and channels is done via ETS software through the KNX bus. For learning wireless components, the device's buttons and display are used.

Configuration: KNX ENO Tool
The KNX ENO Tool software can be used to configure connections between various EnOcean sensors and the EnOcean KNX/EIB gateway KNX ENO 626/630/632/6347636. The device configuration of the Gateway can be read, modified, exported, and saved to the same or another Gateway. EnOcean bus monitor showing EnOcean telegrams sent on the KNX bus.
