The VS133 leverages embedded AI and second-generation ToF technology to gain useful insights into people counting. With up to 99.8% accuracy and 100% anonymous detection, it is ideal for smart buildings and retail.
This is a new generation people counting sensor with an embedded AI algorithm that allows filtering out unnecessary counts and distinguishing different crowds, greatly improving accuracy and scenario adaptation for optimal performance.
Based on the favorable Time of Flight (ToF) technology, characterized by high precision and anonymity protection, the sensor revolutionarily adapts updated technology with higher performance, greater accuracy, and better scenario adaptability to empower applications.
The sensor is GDPR compliant. It only obtains in-depth images without involving personally identifiable information based on ToF technology, which protects at the source.
Thanks to the more robust ToF technology and people counting algorithm, the sensor can better filter non-object targets, reduce the probability of being undetected, reduce dependence on installation height, and improve light anti-interference performance, contributing to an unparalleled accuracy of 99.8%.
In addition to reliable bi-directional people counting simultaneously, the smart sensor also allows direct access to the recognition of specific categories of individuals, including staff detection and adult/child differentiation, realizing accurate people counting to optimize operational efficiency.
Inbound and outbound people counting enriches applications to provide more precise and immediate information. By detecting U-shaped tracks, the sensor filters out redundant counts of people lingering in the area to distinguish those who do not truly enter.
ToF technology enables the sensor to perform well in all lighting conditions, including low-light or completely dark indoor environments and challenging outdoor environments with strong sunlight.
