TCF-142-M-ST: RS-232/422/485 Multi-Mode ST Fiber Optic Serial Converter

The TCF-142 media converter devices feature a serial interface capable of managing RS-232 or RS-422/485 connections and multi-mode fiber. They allow extending serial transmission up to 5 km, even in ring mode. The use of a fiber converter is an almost mandatory choice for RS485 networks connecting different buildings, to overcome the required electrical isolation issues.
