TCF-142-M-ST-T: RS-232/422/485 ST multi-mode fiber optic serial converter, extended temperature range from -40°C to 75°C

TCF-142 media converter devices feature a serial interface capable of managing RS-232 or RS-422/485 and multi-mode fiber connections. They allow extending serial transmission up to 5 km, even in ring mode.The use of a fiber converter is an almost mandatory choice for RS485 networks connecting different buildings, to overcome the required electrical isolation issues.
