IM001G: Relay PadPuls M1 Pulse Counter with Meterbus Protocol

The PadPuls M1 series of devices connects meters with contact output to the M-Bus system. It is a simple and flexible solution for reading already installed meters and measuring electricity, gas, oil, water, and heat meters.
The power for the pulse adapter is taken from the M-Bus. An integrated battery maintains the counting function in case of a bus voltage interruption. The battery capacity allows operation without an M-Bus connection for a guaranteed 7 years.
During installation, the PadPuls M1 can be easily adapted to the meter's pulse output. The measured medium, pulse value, pulse unit, and initial meter count are almost freely adjustable for the individual meter via the configuration software. An integrated security function prevents data configuration after installation without opening the sealed housing.

The 1-channel pulse adapter PadPuls M1 allows the use of meters with pulse output as M-Bus slaves. Thus, for example, data from a simple water or electricity meter can be read centrally by M-Bus.
