MB-LI-4 Hi Pulse Counter

Four-channel pulse counter with MODBUS RTU output.
The pulse counter is used to count AC/DC signals generated by external devices to determine the number of completed work cycles and to exchange data via the RS-485 port according to the MODBUS RTU protocol.

The MB-LI-4 module is a four-channel unidirectional counter. Each channel is independent and counts pulses according to individual settings. The results are presented as the number of pulses and a rescaled value in a range from 0 to ~4.29 billion. The counter reading can be reset independently for each channel. Once the maximum number of pulses (overflow) is reached, the counter automatically resets and starts again from 0. The module has configurable options for counting pulses with a low signal (0 V) or high signal (V+) and with a leading or trailing edge.
Furthermore, the counting input can be used as a digital input (DI) with the ability to read its status.
Reading the counted pulse values, a rescaled value, adjusting all counting parameters, communication, and data exchange occur via the RS-485 port using the MODBUS RTU communication protocol. Power is indicated by a green LED U. Proper data exchange between the module and another device is indicated by the yellow Tx LED.
