The ATC-1000 is an effective and highly integrated low-cost Ethernet-serial conversion solution. It incorporates an 8051 CPU, 64KB OTP ROM, 32KB SRAM, 10/100Mbps Ethernet, and a serial port with RTS, CTS hardware handshake.

 

The ATC-1000 can control a device equipped with an RS232/422/485 interface located virtually anywhere (via Ethernet or the Internet). It automatically detects devices in the network configuration through driver panels, the serial port, Telnet, Web Browser, SNMP auto-switching mode between the driver, and supports RAW TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, PPPoE, Dynamic DNS modes.

 

The ATC-1000 is an industrial device server designed for connecting devices equipped with an RS232/422/485 port, such as CNCs, PLCs, electronic meters, scanners, and other devices, directly to a 10/100Mbps TCP/IP Ethernet network.

 

In addition to enabling networking of serial devices, any host (PC server or workstation) can also access remote serial devices by adding an ATC-1000 to the existing serial port.

 

The device features an Ethernet interface on an RJ45 connector, DB9M (DTE) connectors for RS232 interface connection, and removable terminal blocks for RS422/485 connection. The converter also features surge protection on the RS422/485 interface.

 

Power can be supplied either via removable terminal blocks or a standard 9Vdc adapter (included) (2.1mm jack).
