New generation HSPA+ router with advanced features. It allows connection to remote devices not reached by traditional telephone lines, leveraging the very fast data connection offered by telephone operators.
The connection can be opened on demand via SMS!!

The most interesting features of the product:

- **Connection activation via SMS**, or always-on connection with automatic restart in case of disconnection.
- 200 MIPS ARM9 processor, 8 Mbytes NORFlash, 16 Mbytes SDRAM
- Painted, rust-proof iron body, with guide for DIN rail mounting or wall mounting brackets
- Connections: **4 x RJ45**, 1 x RS232/485 (optional), 1 x console port (debug). The 4 ethernet ports are configurable as backup WAN, DMZ (with settable IP address) or simply to act as a switch.
- The RS232/RS485 port can be remoted and used for connection to one or more serial devices.

It can be used, without the need for other equipment, as a **bridge between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU**.
It automatically converts the Modbus TCP packet arriving at its *WAN* interface into a serial Modbus RTU packet and sends it to the integrated *RS-232* interface. When the Modbus RTU slave device responds, the router packages the message into a Modbus TCP telegram and sends it to the IP address from which the request originated. All with the configuration of just a few very simple parameters!
