TP-SC24-20N-MPPT: Battery charge controllers with MPPT temperature compensation. 12/24V input/output, 20A solar into the battery charge MPP controller.

Tycon Solar™ TP-SC24-20N-MPPT solar controllers are MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) temperature compensated battery charge controllers. A battery temperature probe cable is included. The controllers are auto-ranging to accommodate both 12V and 24V battery systems. They are designed to charge Flooded, AGM, GEL, or Lithium batteries. They also have a USER setting for customizable battery charge settings. They have an integrated LCD display which shows battery voltage, battery capacity, charge capacity, battery temperature, load current, and solar current.

There is an RS232 interface to connect to the Tycon # TP-SC-BT1 Bluetooth adapter (not included). Using this setup and the available Android or IOS mobile app, the solar controller can be monitored and controlled remotely.

They have multiple load operating modes which can be set via buttons on the controller.

They feature electronic protections for short circuit, reverse current, over power, over voltage, overcharge, over-discharge, and over temperature. The integrated anti-discharge protection and low self-consumption ensure the battery is not excessively discharged, greatly increasing battery life. All protections are auto-recovery.
The units are lightning protected with TVS diode protection. They operate over a wide industrial temperature range.
An automatic battery equalization charge is automatically activated once every 30 days (programmable). Equalization charge helps to balance batteries in an array and reduce the chance of battery sulfation.
Connections are via 6 screw terminals for wire sizes up to 10AWG. The controllers are internally protected, but it is always recommended to use an external 20A fuse between the controller and the battery. There are four screw holes for wall mounting. Additionally, there are two brackets included for DIN rail mounting.
