TP-SC48-60-MPPT: solar battery charge controller, MPPT temperature compensation. 12/24/36/48V input/output, 60A solar in the MPPT battery charge controller.

Tycon Solar™ TP-SC48-60-MPPT solar controllers are MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) temperature compensated battery charge controllers. A battery temperature probe cable is included. The controllers are auto-ranging to adapt to 12/24/36/48V battery systems. They are designed to charge Flooded, AGM, GEL, or Lithium batteries. They also have a USER setting for customizable battery charge settings. They have an integrated LCD display showing battery voltage, battery capacity, charge capacity, battery temperature, load current, and solar current.

There is an RS232 interface to connect to the Tycon # TP-SC-BT1 Bluetooth adapter (not included). Using this configuration and the available Android or IOS mobile app, the solar controller can be monitored and controlled remotely.

They have multiple load operating modes that can be set via the buttons on the controller.

The load output has a soft start function, so it can smoothly and reliably power high-capacity loads up to 20A.

They have electronic protections for short circuit, reverse current, over-power, over-voltage, over-charge, over-discharge, and over-temperature. Integrated discharge protection and low self-consumption ensure the battery is not excessively discharged, greatly increasing battery life. All protections are auto-recovery. 
The units are lightning protected with TVS diode protection. They operate over a wide industrial temperature range.
An automatic battery equalization charge activates automatically once every 30 days (programmable). The equalization charge helps balance the batteries in an array and reduce the chance of battery sulfation. 
Connections are via 6 screw terminals for cables up to 7AWG in size. The controllers are internally protected, but it is always recommended to use an external 60A fuse between the controller and the battery. There are four screw holes for wall mounting. Additionally, there are two included brackets for DIN rail mounting.
