The Silex DS-700 is designed to easily connect and share USB devices over a network. Printers, scanners, disk drives, card readers, or virtually any other USB device can now be network-enabled. This allows the USB device to be placed anywhere on the network, instead of being directly connected to a computer, and allows multiple users to access the USB device.
