TP-SC24-30N- MPPT Solar Charge Controller

Tycon Solar™ TP-SC24-30N-MPPT solar controllers are MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) temperature compensated battery charge controllers. A battery temperature probe cable is included. The controllers are auto-ranging to work with both 12V and 24V battery systems. They are designed to charge sealed (AGM), GEL, flooded, and lithium batteries. They also feature a USER setting to customize battery charge settings. They have a built-in color TFT LCD display which shows battery Volts/Amps/Watts, battery level, battery temperature, load Volts/Amps/Watts and solar Volts/Amps/Watts. The display also shows current time and charge mode (CC-Constant Current, CV-Constant Voltage and CF-Float Charge) or Standby (battery operation). The display automatically turns off to save power. Touch the screen to turn it on.

The sensors have different load operation modes that can be set via the mobile or PC application. Manual On/Off mode, PV voltage control mode, dual time control mode, PV and time control mode. Load modes are not settable from the front panel. Default is Manual ON/Off mode.

The 20A load output features a soft start function which allows smooth and reliable powering of high capacity loads. The load can be turned on/off from the front panel or via PC or mobile applications. They feature full electronic protections for short circuit, reverse current, over power, over voltage, overload, over discharge and over temperature. Built-in over-discharge protection and low self-consumption ensure the battery will not over-discharge, greatly increasing the life of your batteries. All protections are auto-recovery.
