TP-DCDC-2448-HP 18-36V In, 56V 30W Pasv PoE, DCDC

The TP-DCDC-2448-HP offered by Tycon Power is a low-cost, high-reliability solution for those who require 56VDC Power over Ethernet from a 24V battery system. They have an integrated PoE injector. Passive PoE and 802.3at models are available. They have two inputs for connecting 2 power sources, such as a primary and a backup power source.

They accept incoming data on a shielded RJ45 jack and provide outgoing data and PoE power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. They work by powering the unused Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-). They have various protections for overvoltage, short circuits, and overloads. The units have an output power of up to 35W. Input and output are isolated, so the units can accept a negative input voltage and can be wired for a positive output voltage for those systems that are based on negative voltage.

If the remote device does not support power over Ethernet, a splitter (POE-SPLT-S) is available to split data and DC voltage at the remote device. If the remote device requires reverse voltage, the POE-XOVER-S cable can be used.
