Supports RS232, RS485, RS422 The ATC-1200 is a highly integrated and low-cost Ethernet-to-Serial converter (Device server). It incorporates a single-cycle instruction RISC AX11005 processor with a maximum operating frequency of 100 Mhz (100 MIPS), built-in 512 KB Flash memory, and 32 kB SRAM data memory. It features a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port and a serial port with RTS/CTS hardware handshake. Supported baud rates are 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 921600. It supports 5, 6, 7, 8-bit communications with 1, 1.5, 2 stop bits and even, odd, no parity. The Ethernet-to-Serial converter can control devices equipped with an RS232/422/485 port located virtually anywhere (via Ethernet or the Internet). It automatically detects devices in the network configuration through driver panels, the serial port, Telnet, WEB browser, SNMP auto-switching mode between driver and in RAW mode. It supports TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, DHCP, BOOTP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, SNTP, uPNP, and HTTP protocols. The ATC-1200 represents a step forward compared to the previous ATC-1000; this new second generation has more advanced features at only a slightly higher price. What has been achieved is a better and more reliable design, which can be used for more applications and devices. Thanks to the new processor, with better performance, lower latencies, and more features, the device has the following new functions: - Email Notifications - You can receive email notification if a user performs a Cold Start of the converter, when an authentication error occurs, if the local IP has changed, or if the password has been changed. - IP address restrictions - You can allow only specified IP addresses to connect to the ATC-1200. - Higher Baud rates - Baud rates up to 921600bps for RS485/RS422. - Works better in virtual COM mode The ATC-1200 is an industrial device server designed for connecting RS232/422/485 devices, such as CNCs, PLCs, electronic scales, scanners, and other devices, directly to a 10/100Mbps TCP/IP Ethernet network. Connected to the device's serial port, it enables networking, allowing any host (PC server or workstation) to access the serial device. The device is equipped with an Ethernet I/F on an RJ45 connector, DB9M (DTE) connectors for RS232 I/F connection, and removable terminal blocks for RS422/485 connection. The converter also features surge protection on the RS422/485 interface. Power can be supplied either through removable terminals or via a standard 9Vdc adapter (included) (2.1mm jack). The device is equipped with a web server, which allows it to be configured from a normal browser (e.g., Internet Explorer). The device can be set to master or slave operation, allowing two devices to be autonomously connected to each other to remote a serial line over an Ethernet network (Paired mode).
