Blue-PUCK-T EN 12830 Puck Temperature Sensor for Cold Chain Applications

The perfect monitoring solution for wide use in cold chain logistics, freezers, refrigerators, and other temperature-sensitive applications. The sensor is EN12830-2018 certified, one of the first on the market. The sensor uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 BLE technology to obtain data from a long distance and can operate with an internal battery for up to 7.5 years. The collected temperature information from the surrounding environment is transferred to the FMB device, which can support up to four temperature sensors.

The EN 12830 standard is required for monitoring temperatures in the transport, storage, and preservation of frozen foods intended for human consumption, to ensure that the temperature is recorded correctly. According to the EU regulation of January 1, 2006, all measuring instruments used for temperature monitoring must comply with the EN 12830 standard. Food chain operators must keep all relevant documents that allow verification that the aforementioned instruments comply with the relevant EN standard.
