El InRouter 720 fue creado para el telecontrol de subestaciones eléctricas de 10 kV en Europa.

Con este objetivo, se ha cuidado extremadamente en cuanto a seguridad, fiabilidad y modo de funcionamiento en entornos con altos niveles de interferencias EMC.

Es capaz de garantizar un aislamiento de 10kV en los puertos Ethernet

La gestión de la dual SIM es sofisticada y permite varias estrategias: primaria predefinida, aleatoria, rotación predefinida.

Tiene una gestión de enrutamiento automática incluso para sistemas complejos: RIP, OSPF
