EDS-408A-PN es un switch Ethernet gestionado para su uso en redes PROFINET con 8 puertos 10/100Base (Tx)
Los EDS-408A-PN están diseñados para PROFINET y pueden integrarse fácilmente en la herramienta de ingeniería Simatic Step 7. Por lo tanto, es sencillo configurarlos a través de Step 7 y monitorearlos desde paneles HMI. Los EDS-405A, con arranque rápido, Turbo Ring y tecnología de recuperación rápida Turbo Chain, pueden optimizar el funcionamiento de las redes PROFINET.

También son compatibles con funciones de gestión como IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP, gestión de ancho de banda y alarma por correo electrónico.
