Lo switch TPEW5G-24 Power Over Ethernet (POE) offerto da Tycon Power Systems è uno switch Ethernet (10Mb, 100Mb, 1000 Mb) a 5 porte ad alta velocità completamente automatico con fino a 35 Watt di potenza POE per porta. È conforme alle specifiche IEEE802.3af / at per il rilevamento di dispositivi POE validi.

L'unità fornisce alimentazione al dispositivo remoto sui pin Ethernet inutilizzati 4,5 (V +) e 7,8 (V-). Le specifiche Ethernet supportano distanze fino a 100 m (328 piedi) tra lo switch POE e il dispositivo remoto.
